The Collection
My spring collection 2018 for Savile Row is inspired by the Dolce Vita. A 1960 film set in Italy and directed by Federico Fellini. It won an Oscar for the best costume design. The men dressed for sunshine, the women for sundown. The style of clothes in the movie resonated with the Italian Riviera; light, fluid and immaculate. Colours that would reflect the sun, and a lightness there had the touch of a warm breeze. Daring in colour, but with a lightness and finess of cut each based on my three principle pattern shapes. Think bold, think daring, think LA Dolce Vita.
