All Jeff Banks Savile Row suits incorporate a floating chest piece. This is a layering of cross ply horse hair canvas and various weights of felting. Under skilled hand pressing this enables the chest shape of the finished suit to be moulded to the configuration of the body. The layers interact with one another to create a permanent shape based on the measurements that have been taken.
